Why test
A before-and-after blood test is the only way to see what is actually changing. Most people test once before starting and again after 8–12 weeks. A doctor should read the results.
Basic panel for everyone
- Complete blood count (CBC).
- Kidney function (creatinine, eGFR) and liver enzymes (ALT, AST).
- Fasting glucose and HbA1c.
- Lipid profile (cholesterol, triglycerides).
Extra tests by group
| Group | Often added |
|---|---|
| Weight & metabolism (GLP-1 type) | Amylase and lipase, weight and waist, blood pressure, resting pulse. |
| Growth hormone | IGF-1 and fasting glucose. |
| Hormones & sexual health | LH, FSH, total and free testosterone, estradiol. |
| Immune | CBC with differential. |
Getting tested in the Philippines
Hospital labs and diagnostic chains in most cities do these tests without a long wait; many accept walk-ins for basic panels. Ask for printed results so you can compare over time.
