Bloodwork guide

What to test before and during a protocol.

Why test

A before-and-after blood test is the only way to see what is actually changing. Most people test once before starting and again after 8–12 weeks. A doctor should read the results.

Basic panel for everyone

  • Complete blood count (CBC).
  • Kidney function (creatinine, eGFR) and liver enzymes (ALT, AST).
  • Fasting glucose and HbA1c.
  • Lipid profile (cholesterol, triglycerides).

Getting tested in the Philippines

Hospital labs and diagnostic chains in most cities do these tests without a long wait; many accept walk-ins for basic panels. Ask for printed results so you can compare over time.
