Mixing calculator

Vial size and water in, syringe units out. Tap a preset or type your own.

How to mix a vial

  1. Wash your hands and wipe both vial tops with alcohol.
  2. Draw the bacteriostatic water into a new syringe.
  3. Push it slowly down the inside wall of the peptide vial, not onto the powder.
  4. Swirl or roll gently until clear. Do not shake.
  5. Label the vial with the date and keep it in the fridge.

Reading the syringe

On a 100-unit (1 mL) insulin syringe, 100 units = 1 mL, so 10 units = 0.1 mL. More water makes each unit hold less peptide, which makes small amounts easier to measure.
