Prostamax protocol

Prostamax is a 4-amino-acid peptide (Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro) from a Russian research group. It has been tested in rat tissue cultures and in cells taken from older people. I found no treatment trial in people.

The protocol at a glance

There is no human dose or schedule in any source I found.

ItemWhat the sources show
Human doseNot established
Studied inRat tissue cultures and cultured cells from older people

Prostamax is not the same as Prostatilen, a prostate extract product that the Russian group lists separately in its clinical review. ClinicalTrials.gov lists no Prostamax trial (searched 5 Nov 2026).

Community reports

Community notes report 500 mcg to 1 mg a day for 10 to 20 days. These are user reports, not trial data.

What people say they do, collected from community discussions. Not tested in a trial; shown so you can compare it with the evidence above.

Mixing

No mixing table here: this one is used as a capsule, nasal spray or skin product, or has no human amount to calculate from. The general mixing calculator works for any vial.

What the trials found

No treatment results in people exist. Lab findings:

0.05 ng/mLConcentration that stimulated growth in rat prostate tissue cultures (young and old rats)
CellsIn cells from people aged 75 to 86, it changed chromosome markers; the authors say this may switch on silenced genes

Side effects

  • No human safety data exists.

How it works

Chromatin loosening (lab)

In cells from older people it loosened tightly packed DNA (heterochromatin). This is a lab finding only.
